Crunchy red fruit notes with really nice acidity, drinks like an elegant Champagne Rose without the price tag.
In May 2004, Céline and Benoit Blet took over the 8.5 hectare domaine of Bernard Coutel, who was retiring and had no family members to follow in his footsteps .The vineyards were located in the village of Oiron which the Prince of Gastronomes cited as an “area of great white wines of Chenin”.
Certified organic, the wines are carefully and meticulously made by Celine and Benoit. Certified organic since 2010, the domaine produces about 4,000cs of mono-varietal cuvées which are the expression of the varietal in the terroir. Half of the domaine is planted in Chenin Blanc; the other half in Gamay and Cabernet Franc. The soil is clay, sand and silex.
