Gamay is grown on the south/ south-east facing slopes, protected from the prevailing west winds. The climate is semi-continental. Vines are at an altitude of 170 to 280 meters. Very well drained clay and limestone soils from Jurassic age. Vines are trained Guyot simple and are planted at a density of 5,500 plants/ hectare. 1st press juice only, hand harvested and crushed gently. Fermented using native yeast. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in Inox tanks. Aged for 12 months sur lattes.

Crisp sparkling full of strawberry, raspberry, peach notes. The color of the wine has a slight blush from minor skin contact and is enhanced by pleasant earthiness. Light, balanced acidity, not dry but not sweet either. Gives Champagne or Cremant a run for the money! Crowd pleaser!
