Also known as Muscat of Alexandria, it is grown biodynamically by Family Gaudioso on the island of Sicily, Italy in volcanic soils. They only make about 1,300 bottles a year! The wine smells like yellow flowers, candied citrus fruits, vanilla and syruped apricots. It tastes like almond and has a caramel aftertaste. There is also plenty minerality because of the volcanic soil. It is definitely not a boring white wine.
